Special Bonsai and Suiseki Exhibition

October 11, 2011

During convention, special bonsai and suiseki are exhibited at Hiunkaku in Takamo Parks, the ruins of Takamatsu Castle. Hiunkaku is a historical and venerable structure of a Japanese traditional architectural style. It was constructed by Matsudaira Clan in 1917 and designated as a Tangible Cultural Prosperity by Takamatsu City in 2005. Hiunkaku is not usually opened to the public.

The leading special bonsai and suiseki of Japan, such as the winner of Kokufuten exhibition prize knows as the greatest authority in the world and the important suiseki only a few in Japan, will be assembled. A special bonsai from the Imperial Household Agency seldom opened will be also exhibited.

We believe that these special bonsai and suiseki are never assembled at one exhibition in the future, so this exhibition is the most valuable opportunity to see them.
