Nebari

A condition of roots of a tree visible out of the surface of dirt. The roots include those roots on one side of the trunk, those directed at all directions and rock-like roots. Ideal for bonsai is happonebari in which roots extend to all directions, sinking into earth and enabling a tree to have a steady form, the condition necessary for good bonsai.
