Yagome
This is a synonymous term for ”hikobae.” It often hits such species as ”boke” (Flowering Quince). It means the coming out of a ”futeiga” indefinite bud from the root of a tree or some parts of the root. It will grow into a strong branch. If ”yagome” is left untouched, existing small branches will lose strength. So ”yagome” should, in general, be cut out at an early stage.
