''Jiita'' refers to a board or sheet to help decorate ordinary and grass bonsai. The shape of a ''jiita'' sheet varies from a long one to elliptical, hexagonal and ''hyotan'' (Gourd) ones. ''Jiita,'' which is considered to be one of the varieties of ''taku'' tables for bonsai display, is a thin version of the ''hirataku'' flat table. But a legged table which is very thin cannot be called ''jiita.''
